Simple Holiday Makeup Pictorial

1. PRIME: Start by priming the lid with Motives EYE BASE. Sigma Brush Concealer-F75
2. CREASE: Sweep FAWN into the crease area. Sigma Brush Blending-E25
3. LID: Spritz some water into your brush and apply DAZZLE onto your lid. Sigma Brush Eye Shading-E55
4. DEFINE: Define just the crease area just underneath the crease bone using ESPRESSO blending up ward into transition shade. Sigma Pencil Brush-E30
5. LINE: Line the eye with Eye Do Liquid Liner sticking close to the lash line creating a short wing.
6. DARKEN just the outer V with FORCE where the crease line and liquid liner wing meet. Sigma Smudge Brush- E21
7. LOWER LASH: Begin by adding transition shade FAWN using Pencil brush, then darken with ESPRESSO using SMUDGE brush, and further darken just the lash line with FORCE using any angle brush.

What you will need: 

– eye shadow primer; 

– black and gold eyeliner; 

– brown eye shadow; 

– light blue and deep blue eye shadow;

1. Apply an eye shadow primer on the lids then draw a black semi circle on them as you can see in the pictures. 

2. Take the gold eyeliner and line your lower lash line then apply some more on the inner corners of the eyes. 

3. Apply some brown eye shadow over the black line and blend it upwards, then blend it with the black. 

4. Take the light and deep blue eye shadows and start applying them on the lids. 

5. Line your upper lash line with black and with the same color waterline your bottom lash line.

1. Apply a primer to your lids. I used Mac paint pot in Painterly. Now with the Mac 224 brush, apply a transition color. I used hot singles eye shadow called Coquette.
2. As your highlight and in the tear duct apply Diamond Lust hot singles eye shadow from Take a 222 brush from Mac and in the crease apply hot singles eye shadow called Own The Night.
3. Line your waterline with Mac kohl in Smolder and with a pencil brush apply hot single eye shadow Dressed To Kill along the lower lash line.
4. From the Pro palette, using the same pencil brush apply Pewter on top of Dressed To Kill on the lower lash line.
5. With a 239 Mac brush, damp it using mixing medium and pack on their pressed pigment called Summer Honey to the lid.
6. Line and wing out your top lash line with YSL gel liner in Deep Black and a Mac 209 brush.
7. Curl your lashes, apply a thin coat of mascara and add some false lashes to complete the look.

You’ll probably have some leftovers that you can store in the fridge until next time. If your lips are extremely dry, try using this scrub two to three times a week.

DIY: Honey Aspirin Mask for Acne Treatment

The reason why Aspirin is used is because it contains salicylic acid, which is wonderful for unclogging pores and soothing big angry pimples. Manuka Honey is calming and has natural healing properties; on top of that, it is also highly antibacterial. Lemon Juice lightens scars and lessens redness. These three together are a powerful concoction, and are not to be taken lightly.
Note: am only using this as an overnight spot treatment, not for the entire face. If you are using this for your whole face, I suggest only putting it for 15-20 minutes max, no more than that.

Ingredients: 1-2 uncoated Aspirin (I’m using Bayer’s)
1/3 teaspoon of Manuka Honey
4-5 droplets of lemon juice (if that’s not enough, use 1-3 droplets of water)

Preparation Time: 7-10 Minutes

1) Take out 2 Aspirins and put them in a small bowl
2) Put 4-5 drops of water/lemon juice on them till they break and mix up
3) Make sure both are getting powdery and clumped together
4) Add the Manuka Honey on top and mix it together till it becomes a paste (try to use a wooden or plastic spoon to mix the honey, as metal can corrupt or lessen the antibacterial properties in honey)
5) Apply the mixture onto the troubled area – make sure the layer is thick and covers well
6) Put a band aid/plaster on top so it doesn’t come off onto your pillowcase

#1 Begin by slicing your banana into a bowl
#2 Pour in the 2 tbsp honey
#3 Add a dollop of natural yoghurt
#4 Blend or mash with a fork , add more yogurt if necessary for a better consistency.
#5 Pour into a sealable container. Keep refrigerated until use.

• Using a lip liner that is slightly deeper than your natural lip tone, begin to line your lips going veryslightly outside your natural lip edge. A rosy-beige color is a good place to start of you’re not sure of what to use.
• On the center portion of your top lip, use your liner to connect the peaks of your cupid’s bow.(Drawing more of a straight line)
• Line your bottom lip, and in the middle underneath, make a small extra darkened dash.
• Fill in your lips with a light colored neutral (lip-toned) lipstick.
• Using a highlighter or shimmery vanilla colored shadow, dab around your cupid’s bow and in the center of your bottom lip.

Natural Brow Filling- Beauty Tutorial
1. + 2. Brush eyebrow hairs up to expose the natural brow line.
3. Using a tweezer, remove any unwanted hairs from below and above the brow line.
4. Using an eyebrow pencil one or two shades lighter than the hair color, follow the natural brow line underneath, from one end to the other.
5. Apply the pencil liner on top of the eyebrow, starting from the center, and then working your way back to the ends of the eyebrows, meeting the line that you created on the bottom. This would be an appropriate time to create a slight arch on top of the brow.
6. Using a spoolie brush (The Brow Wiz pencil has one built in), brush the liner up into the brows, blending any harsh lines.
7. Apply brow powder, or a matte eye shadow, with an angled brush to fill in the brow and set the color.
8. Apply a cream concealer or highlighter, just under the entire brow and on the top outer edge of the brow. Blend using a concealer brush.
9. Add a coat of clear brow gel, to secure any unruly hairs.
